I ve gone through the greencard process and have been approved. If you have an education from Denmark then the process will only take 1 month from when all the correct documentation is turned in. If you do not have a Danish education then it can take up to a year which is of course a long time. In my experience I would advise anyone applying to make sure they submit all the correct documentation and keep track of what was sent in. Also because sometimes things are misplaces or lost, I would make sure there are duplicates of all documentation ready to be sent in again if needed. Also if you are waiting for an extended period of time then call and check in on the status of your application. This way you know that all documentation has been received and you are not missing any information that could delay the process.
