Watching the episodes of mydenmarktv keeps me from being homesick. whenever I miss Denmark, I always check on your episodes regardless if it’s my nth time to do so :) I just have some suggestions though..I noticed that you always discuss on your show about “working in Denmark” and Li Yuan were able to interview foreigners working in Denmark. May I suggest that you be more “global” when it comes to interviewing foreigners. I know that you already interviewed people coming from China, Canada, UK, etch. But what I notice is, people in these countries don’t find it that hard to seek and gain work in DK since their countries have strong ties with the Danish gov’t. I think it would be more interesting to interview and ask people coming from the so-called ‘third world’ countries to know the things they did to be able to penetrate the Danish working environment. But if you think otherwise, that would be fine :) Also, can you feature the in demand jobs in Denmark?

Keep up the good work and ’till your next episode.

Thanks for the comment and a great suggestion. You are right, we have not interviewed many people from the “third world” countries. We will definitely seek out help and knowledge from such people and show our audience their success stories on how they broke through.

As per the demand jobs, we are planning a series of interviews with job experts in Denmark. Hopefully they will be the right people to point out at such jobs. You should learn more about it in the upcoming episodes.

    Hi Vladimir & katie,

Loved this episode !!! I didn’t know that the Danes kind of celebrate Halloween, so that was new for me . I can’t wait for every Wednesday to see your videos, I am exited for the next one.

    kind Regards,

    Hi Vanessa,

Thanks for the comment. Of course, Halloween in Denmark is not as big as it is in North America. But as a foreigner coming from a non-Halloween culture I must admit it is getting more and more popular here. It is very big in Tivoli and also in kindergartens where kids have all kinds of Halloween parties for which they dress up in different costumes. During the Halloween period pumpkins become very popular here in Denmark.

Thanks for being excited with us for the upcoming episodes ;)
