Episode #27 we talk about the report prepared by Transparency International, how to make an appointment with a doctor and cover some aspects of the Danish health system. Liyuan is back with a career consultant, Thomas Klintgaard, to give you some nice job interview tips for job hunting in Denmark and finally we talk about winter sports in Denmark.
Websites and resources shared in this Episode are as follows:
www.transparency.org (Transparency International)
www.danskate.dk (The Danish Skating Union)
www.ishockey.dk (The Danish Ice Hockey Union)
Danish words mentioned in the Episode:
Apotek - Pharmacy, Drugstore

The corruption thing made me chuckle but since Katie explained it, it makes sense. I wonder where DK would have come if they had included “black money”.
Do not go to the doctor when you have a cold or influenza. Normally you will get fine after a few days. The doctor can not spend time on such things just because it is free for you.
I think you forgot one important thing : When you think you need to go to the hospital you can’ t just go there and say you need help. You need to go to your own doctor and he / she will order a time for you. When you for example have broken an arm and you need to go to the hospital and your GP is not available you can contact Lægevagten by phone who will be ready for you in the hours where your own doctor is not ready for you. Only call Lægevagten when it is very important and you can’t wait to see your own doctor the next day. See more here
