I will be living near Hillerød! It is a beautiful city and a great place to have a relaxing day shopping and walking down the cobbled streets. Also the little boat that can take you across the lake is fun! I haven’t had a chance to visit the baroque gardens but I have seen them from the other side of the water and they look beautiful! I would recommend Hillerød to anyone!

Thanks for these latest episodes! I enjoy watching. I’m an Australian who used to live in Denmark in 1996 (as an exchange student). I lived in Ribe which is a wonderful town, you should go there too! I’d also like to hear more Danish spoken – you could have English subtitles… Cheers, Donna

Amanda – Hillerød is a wonderful city, isn’t it? My heart will always belong to Copenhagen, but I love the scene of the castle across the lake in Hillerrød. A great place to visit…and I’m sure to live! :-)

Donna – Ribe, hmmm! I have to admit I’ve haven’t been there yet. Sell us on the idea more and we’ll try to get there for an episode in the future! :-D

Thanks for the comments, I’m glad that you liked it :-)

@Amanda- yes, totally agree. During my first years in Denmark ( very looooong time ago:-)) I used to live in a small town near Hillerød. So it did bring back memories while we were there.

@Donna- I LOVE Ribe too! Wonderful city, old but just so charming. And they also have Viking museum too, like Roskilde :-) . I have been there during a school trip (again, very looong time ago :-) ) but I still remember the atmosphere of the city. Would definitely love to come back one day :-)

    Best,
    Julie
